A lot of expenses came up and the diamond fund went to fulfill that. Then, the second baby, then their higher studies, then their marriage. At last, when she was about sixty, her husband retired and with the money he received, he bought her the diamond ring.

Just then, she saw her young daughter-in-law announcing that they were expecting a baby in the fall. Smiling, she just took the ring and wanting to be a blessing to her daughter-in-law and son, she gave them the ring. She said, "I am too old now to really enjoy the beauty of this ice-on-fire. It is better that you wear it."

It took tremendous willpower to keep saving every month $50 for a year for mom's chloe handbag. After a year, I had $500-600 in my hand I felt a wonderful thrill in me. I rushed to a good designer label boutique and found the best looking chloe handbag I had ever seen. I bought it and when I reached home, I realized that there was no occasion to give mom a gift. Nonetheless, I gave it to her as soon as I reached home. Her stunned expression and glow of pleasure was all the reward I could ever dream of.
